Quiet Winter Morning

For the next week I have the great honor of being at work at 5:45 A.M. such a gift I know! Anyway this morning when I woke up and got ready I figured I should check outside before I layed down to take a nap becuase I got ready fast. Low and behold there was a LOT of snow outside. However I stood at my door just staring outside. It was so beautiful and peaceful. All I could think about was how extremly lucky I am to have a Heavenly Father that watches over me and provides me with beautiful moments like this morning that let me know he is there and thinking about me :)

Hiding from the world today

Lately it feels like I have been running from one thing to the next and have zero time for me or just time to spend with Tommy.

Today I decided to hide from the world :)

Tommy didnt' go to work today to study for finals, so I deicded it was my time to take a much needed break. I called in sick to work and didn't have to go to class.

It has been just fabulous to sit at home all day with Tommy just chilling in our PJ's watching Bones (which is one of our new favorite shows).

Contrary to what you might think we both actually studied for finals and Tommy is taking one right now. It hasn't been a complete day off but just exactly what I needed! Now I am ready for the crazyness of family Christmas parties and going back to work tomorrow.

P.S. I will try to remember to take pictures of our Christmas decorations and post them but I can't promise anything haha :)

Paying Attention...

I usually am really good at paying attention in my math class. I usually just do homework on my laptop the entire time. Today is a completely different story! I have zero attention span and just keep doing what I shouldn't be doing. It really doesn't help that I am a chapter ahead of my class, paying attention to what I already know is not a happy plan for me. Our classroom is really hot today too which makes me want to go to sleep! Alright I'm going to try and work on homework, but if I am going to be completely honest I'm just going to play bejeweled on facebook :)

decisions decisions...

I have decided that I hate having to dye my hair every month or so. The only option that leaves me with is to work on getting back to my orginial hair color, which would be blonde. Not going to lie this makes me slightly nervous! I am going to post a picture of my hair blonde, if I can find one it may be very hard, and a picture of my hair dark. Post your vote in comments :)

I know its been a very long time since I last posted but hey I got married, I had a lot to do :) The wedding was fabulous and all went well. True we did run out of food and had to go get more but only because what we chose was so good! I think the biggest hit of the entire wedding was what we had to drink...Yes that's right we had my favorite soda (diet coke) and Tommy's favorite soda (dr. pepper)!

This idea was great because Tommy and I got to have them while standing for the line, it helped us get through the crazy night. We both agree that it was very fun to see all those that came, however our favorite part was all the gifts! It was like christmas for our new house :)

For the honeymoon we went to DISNEYLAND!! Best idea ever if I do say so myself! It is such a fun vaction for just two people, I was nervous about going with just us because I'm used to being with a huge group (my fam) but it was a complete blast!

Now we are home and have been for a week! Before we got married everyone was saying how we would get home and it would be way weird to be living with each other but nither of us feel that way. It has just been a lot of fun!! It only feels weird when we do the household stuff together, one night Tommy made dinner while I did laundry, that felt kind of weird. I totally love being married though, it's the best thing ever and I got real lucky with my sweet hubby!!

Today was our first sunday back in our ward and of course I have a calling already! It's alright because my calling fits me rather well. I am the chorister for the Relief Society! Good thing it isn't to far outside my comfort zone but it will still be a new experience! I'm excited for it but slightly nervous.

School starts this week for me and next week for Tommy! Its crazy how fast time goes! Hopefully we can still function when we both have homework loads and work! It will be interesting! Sorry the post is so long just had to play the catch-up game :) Have a wonderful week all!!

One month from today I am getting married!!! I'm so excited and can't believe it's coming up so fast! I am a planner and have had all the plans done for a couple of months but as it is getting closer I am realizing the little details that still need to be done! I am trying to not stress out about it because I know that wont help anything. It's so super crazy how life goes by so fast! I have my friend shower on saturday and I'm very excited to see all the girls! Not only do I have my own that day I have one of my dear friends just before mine! I swear there are so many people getting married right now :) Hopefully the rest of the time before the wedding will go as smooth as it has been going!! Can't wait for August 7, 2010!!!!

Sneak Peak!

On Saturday morning we took bridals/groomals! It was really fun taking all the pictures and Lisa, our photographer/sister, made it a comfortable morning. We went to three locations the first one was the Noni gardens in Orem, a gorgeous place to take pictures! Locations number two was a weird back street in American Fork where we took pictures on my little brothers bike, that one was an adventure haha. The last location was the old blacksmith shop in PG, at this location Tommy wanted us to do serious faces....that doesn't work so well with me I CAN'T keep a serious face! It is actually very entertaining.

I was super excited to see the pictures and last night Lisa sent us a few pictures!! When Tommy and I looked at the first one the both of us said the same thing at the same time, Wow that's really weird! The pictures are beautiful and I am very excited to see the rest of them! This very first picture is my favorite one!

There is Beauty all Around...

I spent two hours this morning weeding. As many bugs as I had to kill and how itchy I am with a couple of bug bites it was nice couple of hours. I hope that one day when I have my own home I will be as great as my mom is at making our yard beautiful! The picture is from the year we got the beautification award from the city, isn't our yard beautiful! I look up to my mom so much for all the hard work she does in our yard. Bridger has been working his tail off in the yard too! Weeding can kind of be relaxing so who knows I might be doing more of that this summer! My mom will die if she reads this haha :D I LOVE the summer time!!!!

I just finished watching the final episode of Glee. This show is so amazing and I have thuroughly enjoyed watching this season. The characters are fabulous and they all have rediculous voices that I love listening to!! Each episode is so unique and there is always a twist that is crazy! The costuming for their performances is beautiful and sometimes hilarious!
The final espisode was so beautiful! I cried so hard in the episode. There were two reasons I was crying

1- Because I have watched the entire season I am attached the the characters naturally. All of the characters were crying therefore I was crying, and their singing was so powerful!

2- Hearing how incredible their voices are and the power in their music made me cry. I miss singing like crazy! Performing and singing was my life last year and now I don't sing ever. Singing is such an outlet for me, when I'm in my car or in the shower I belt it out :) Performing is so fun and I love the adrenaline that I get from it!

Music a universal language that can change the world. The power of music is amazing and I love it!

Bridal Shower Fun

Sorry to abandon the blog for so long but my computer was broken. Now that it is working I will update a lot more often. Yesterday I had my very first bridal shower, can we say WEIRD! It was very fun to see ladies from my home ward. There are many memories with them and I look up to so many of the ladies that I was able to see yesterday. As good as it was seeing everyone it was strange to think that all the things I got are for mine and Tommy's house! *Just as a side note our apt. will be decorated and very cute* It sometimes isn't real to me that we are getting married. I am so incredibly excited for it but at the same time I keep thinking in my head that it's so far away when in all reality its so very close! Life is changing and I'm loving every moment of it!

Starting Out

Okay so i love reading everyones blogs its so fun! Therefore I decided to start my own blog! I don't know how much I am going to write but I guess only time will tell :) Its fitting that the title of this post is starting out because my life is full of new beginnings right now.

1. I am getting married on August 7th!

2. My parents are getting divorced so that brings a new world to our family

3. I'm deciding what my major in school is going to be

Life is crazy but its great to be able to know that everything will work out the way it's supposed to if I do one simple thing. CTR- Choose the Right!! I'm oh so thankful to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints! I have a feeling that I am going to really like blogging :) The title of my blog explains my passion, music! I decided that I am going to put a song with each blog post because music makes my world go round!
